From May 20 to 24, Kazakhstan’s student team delivered an outstanding performance at the Huawei ICT Competition Global Final 2024–2025 in Shenzhen, China, earning 3rd place in the “Cloud Trek” category and bringing international recognition to the country’s growing talent in information and communication technologies. This achievement is especially significant because the global final brought together participants from more than 2,000 universities worldwide, making it a major milestone not only for the students themselves, but also for Kazakhstan’s higher education system and its future IT workforce.
Kazakhstan was represented in the Cloud Trek track by three talented students: Ruslan Kuangalyuly Tanatar, a third-year Computer Engineering student at Yessenov University; Anida Mitalipova from Astana IT University; and Zhansulu Sairanbekkyzy Kuntas from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
