Yessenov University hosted an important meeting with international investors in the aquaculture sector.
Acting President and Rector of the University, E. Nurmaganbet, met with Christian Rey-de Rudder, Head of the Swiss company Swiss Choice Holding SA, and Xavier Rey, its Executive Director. The company is developing the Caviar House brand in Kazakhstan and implementing the RED PEARL fish farm project in the Tupkaragan District.
The meeting focused on establishing a full-cycle aquaculture system in the Mangystau Region, providing scientific and technological support for the production of caviar and fish products, introducing international best practices, and jointly implementing investment projects.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to involve Yessenov University researchers in the research and development activities of the RED PEARL project, establish a joint working group, and implement specific research projects in stages.

This initiative will connect university research with real-world industry needs, contribute to the development of a modern aquaculture cluster in Mangystau, facilitate the introduction of advanced technologies, support the training of qualified professionals, and strengthen the region’s food security and economic potential.
