“Developing Teachers’ Competencies in Career Guidance: Technologies of Pedagogical Support for Students’ Informed Career Choice”
On March 10 in Aktau, at the premises of Yessenov University, the ceremonial opening of the advanced training course titled “Developing Teachers’ Competencies in Career Guidance: Technologies of Pedagogical Support for Students’ Informed Career Choice” took place.
The opening ceremony was conducted by the Vice President for Research and Development of Yessenov University, the moderator of the event, A.A. Seidaliev. During the meeting, the Head of the Education Department of the Mangystau Region, Amantay Yasauyevich Kumbaev, emphasized the importance of developing the career guidance system in the region, preparing young people in accordance with labor market requirements, and enhancing the professional potential of teachers.
Within the framework of the plenary session, current directions of career guidance activities were discussed. Shynar Orazaliyevna Mendaliyeva, Senior Researcher of the scientific project “Development of Atlases of New Professions and Competencies of the Regions of Kazakhstan Based on the Skills Technology Foresight Method,” delivered a presentation titled “Atlas of New Professions: New Opportunities for Career Guidance in Schools.”
