On March 27, Yessenov University hosted a republican scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Amanbay Ata Zhetemisuly.
The event focused on the comprehensive study of the spiritual heritage of the historical figure, his place in collective memory, and his connection with traditional culture. The conference served as an important platform for discussing the development of national consciousness and spiritual values.
Participants explored a thematic exhibition, attended the theatrical performance “Aruakty Abyz Ata – Amanbay,” and took part in the plenary session with representatives of government, academia, and the university.
The program included presentations by leading scholars, a documentary film screening, the presentation of the book “Aulie Kupiyasy,” and a cultural program featuring elements of traditional art.
As a result of the conference, specific recommendations were developed for the further study, promotion, and integration of Amanbay Ata’s heritage into the educational system.
