The opening ceremony of the “Turkish language” cabinet was held on the basis of Yessenov University. The main purpose of the event is to acquaint students of our university with the culture and history, language and literature of the Republic of Turkey, based on the further development of cooperation between Turkic countries and communities in the Economic, Trade, Technical, social, cultural and educational spheres.
Within the framework of the “Silver university” project, Yessenov University hosted a ceremony of awarding certificates to the first graduates of the integrated tourist course for the training of guides for older citizens. The purpose of the course is to develop and promote the tourism direction in the sacred, sacred places and natural beauty of the Mangystau region. More than 30 elderly residents of Mangystau region took part in this project, and for 3 months they underwent training courses for tour-guides.
Teacher of the educational program “Traditional art” Yessenov Univeristy Gaziza Uzakbay held a lecture in the format of a concert within the framework of the academic mobility program at the State Conservatory on the basis of Sakarya University in Turkey.
A group of international and domestic experts met with the leadership of Yessenov University, the academic building, the teaching staff, students, employers and graduates. They also visited the engineering laboratories of the University and the practice bases of students, where they got acquainted with the conditions of research work.
Yessenov University and Canterbury Christ Church University signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation.Within the framework of the memorandum on January 20, 2024, a group of doctoral students and MBA/ EMBA undergraduates of the educational program “economics” of Yessenov University, as well as their leaders, received a unique opportunity to go to the UK for a scientific internship.
The final project in an English lesson dedicated to effective communication under the guidance of the American English Fellowship program is successfully completed. This special event was designed to showcase the oratory skills that students acquired during the academic year while learning from senior lecturer and TESOL master, Charles McKinney. Students who are new to Toastmasters International are sufficiently prepared to perform at their best in English. During the meeting, each student received a role, demonstrating their professional and effective public speaking skills.
Yessenov University hosted a guest lecture for students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers on the topic “Education and globalization” with Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences from abroad, professor of Vilnius University Rimantas Zhelvis (Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania). During the lecture, reforms and global problems in education were discussed.
