The opening ceremony of the “Turkish language” cabinet was held on the basis of Yessenov University. The main purpose of the event is to acquaint students of our university with the culture and history, language and literature of the Republic of Turkey, based on the further development of cooperation between Turkic countries and communities in the Economic, Trade, Technical, social, cultural and educational spheres.
Yessenov University actively implements a range of community outreach projects aimed at promoting education, social inclusion, and lifelong learning in the Mangystau region.
A core component of this work is the mandatory bachelor-level course Service to Society, which includes community engagement through field visits to orphanages, rehabilitation centers, and elderly care homes. Students support local institutions by offering educational assistance, companionship, and social activities.
In 2024, the university launched the Silver University Program, a special initiative providing non-formal education opportunities for elderly citizens in areas such as digital skills, well-being, and personal development.
Additionally, the university organizes digital literacy workshops for the broader community, including training sessions for unemployed citizens, senior learners, and small business owners, aimed at reducing the digital divide in the region.
These initiatives reflect Yessenov University’s strong commitment to knowledge exchange and inclusive regional development, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and community empowerment.
