On November 5, Yessenov University was visited by the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Almaty, Mr. Matthias Kiesler, accompanied by a delegation of representatives from German and Kazakhstan companies.
Among the guests were:
GTAI, Actemium Kazakhstan, HYRASIA ENERGY, KITA Logistics, Schenker Kazakhstan, Siemens, VDW, the German Economic Union in Kazakhstan, and others.
During the visit, the guests learned about the university’s activities and the work of the Kazakh-German Institute of Sustainable Engineering (KINI).
The discussion covered the following areas:
• joint educational programs
• scientific research projects
• student and professional exchange
• and opportunities for collaboration with industry
The company representatives expressed strong interest in developing partnerships and launching joint initiatives.
This visit marks an important step in strengthening Kazakhstan–Germany cooperation in the fields of education, technology, and sustainable development.
