General regulations

This social package is designed to further develop and improve social protection and improve the living standards of the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan – full-time students.
The social package serves the following tasks:
1) improving the social conditions of students;
2) promotion of a healthy lifestyle and organization of cultural leisure for students;
3) stimulating the participation of students in educational, research, sports and public life.
Students with high levels of academic achievement and those who do not have disciplinary sanctions can claim social support. In the event of imposing disciplinary sanctions during the academic year on the proposal of the dean of the faculty, the trainer is deprived of social support for the current academic year.
The trainee must receive the full package of documents specified in Section 6 of this Social Package. Not a complete package of documents will not be accepted.
Departments of faculties within three working days on the basis of the received documents prepare the order about assignment to the student of social support, coordinated with the chairman of the trade union committee and the pro-rector on educational and social work.
Social support is assigned for the period remaining until the end of the school year (before June 30) from the first day after the full package of documents confirming his social status are sent to the office. The exception is the first half of September: if the documents are submitted to the dean’s office before September 20, then social support is appointed from September 1.
A student who has a GPA less than 3.0 at the end of the exam session is deprived of social support during the school year.
The trainee has the right to use only one point of the Social Package, with the exception of material assistance and bonuses paid according to sections 3. “Material assistance for students” and 4. “Encouraging students”.

Note: benefits are not provided to persons studying at the expense of enterprises (organizations, institutions, etc.).

  1. MATERIAL ASSISTANCE TO TRAINING

Material assistance is provided to students experiencing financial difficulties due to various circumstances:
1) in connection with the death of close relatives of the student (mother, father, wife, husband) – in the amount of the state scholarship;
2) students who have fallen ill or have been ill with tuberculosis – in the amount of the state stipend (2 times in the academic year during the first month of each semester: September and February).

  1. PROMOTION OF TRAINING

  1. CSUTE Rector’s gratitude is sent out to students’ parents who have achieved excellent marks in academic, scientific and public life following the results of the academic year.
  1. OTHER KINDS OF SOCIAL SUPPORT
  2. The right to free accommodation in hostels is provided to the following categories of nonresident students:

1) orphans and children left without parental care;
2) students ill or sick with tuberculosis.

  1. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR OBTAINING SOCIAL SUPPORT

The student, submits to the dean’s office the original documents together with the copies for verification. The deanery checks copies with their originals during the reception of documents, after which the originals are returned to the owner.

  1. Tuition fees

1.1. The holder of the sign “Altyn belgi”, having academic results only “excellent” for all sessions:
1) the application of the student;
2) a copy of the identity card of the student;
3) a copy of the certificate of the holder of the sign “Altyn belgi”;
4) a transcript issued by the registration department.
1.2. The mother of the trainee, who has five or more children in the family up to the age of 18, is the owner of the pendant “Altyn alka”:
1) the application of the student;
2) a copy of the identity card of the student;
3) a copy of the student’s birth certificate;
4) copies of birth certificates of other children under the age of 18;
5) address information for all family members;
6) a copy of the certificate of the holder of the sign “Altyn alka”;
7) a transcript issued by the registration department.
1.3. The holder of a special certificate or diploma with honors, having academic results only “excellent” for all sessions:
1) the application of the student;
2) a copy of the identity card of the student;
3) a transcript issued by the registration department.
1.4. Orphans and children left without parental care:
1) the application of the student;
2) a transcript issued by the registration department.
1.5.The student, who passed all the examinations with the marks “excellent”:
1) the application of the student;
2) a copy of the identity card of the student;
3) a transcript issued by the registration department.
1.6. Simultaneous training of two or more children from the same family in CSUTE on a fee basis (regardless of the form of training):
1) application of students;
2) copies of the identity card of students;
3) copies of certificates of birth of students;
4) address information of students;
5) a transcript issued by the registration department.
If students study in different faculties, then the Dean’s Office of the Faculty where the student previously enrolled in the university prepares the order.
1.7. Student’s parents are invalids of the first group:
1) student’s application;
2) a copy of the student’s identity card;
3) a copy of the student’s birth certificate;
4) copies of both parents’ certificates of disability;
5) a transcript issued by the registration department.
1.8. The trainee is a disabled person of the first group:
1) student’s application;
2) a copy of the student’s identity card;
3) a copy of the student’s certificate of disability;
4) a transcript issued by the registration department.
1.9. One of the parents of the student has work experience at CSUTE:
1) student’s application;
2) a copy of the student’s identity card;
3) a copy of the student’s birth certificate;
4) a copy of the identity card of the parent-employee of CSUTE;
5) certificate from the personnel department on the length of service;
6) a transcript issued by the registration department.

  1. Material assistance to students

2.1. Death of close relatives of the student (mother, father, wife, husband):
1) student’s application;
2) a copy of the student’s identity card;
3) a copy of the birth certificate of the trainee or of the marriage;
4) a copy of the certificate of death of a close relative.
2.2. Students ill or sick with tuberculosis:
1) student’s application;
2) a copy of the student’s identity card;
3) certificate from the medical institution, confirming the diagnosis of the student.

  1. Encouragement of students

3.1.1. High rates of the trainee at international subject Olympiads, contests, competitions, held outside of Kazakhstan:
1) student’s application;
2) a copy of the student’s identity card;
3) presentation of the dean of the faculty agreed with the supervising pro-rector;
4) a copy of the relevant diploma.
3.1.2. High indicators of the trainee at the republican olympiads, contests and competitions held not in CSUTE:
1) student’s application;
2) a copy of the student’s identity card;
3) presentation of the dean of the faculty agreed with the supervising pro-rector;
4) a copy of the CSUTE order on sending or participating in the Olympiad in CSUTE;
5) the corresponding diploma of MES RK.
3.2. Encouraging students by CSUTE Rector’s gratitude sent out to student’s parents:
1) presentation of the dean of the faculty, coordinated with the department of educational, social work and youth creativity.

  1. Other types of social support

4.1. Granting orphans and children left without parental care the right of free accommodation in hostels:
1) student’s application.
4.2. Granting students who have fallen ill or has been ill with tuberculosis the right of free accommodation in hostels:
1) student’s application;
2) a copy of the student’s identity card;
3) certificate from the medical institution, confirming the disease.
