General Provisions

This social package is designed to further develop and improve social protection and improve living standards of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan full-time students.

Social package is used to implement the following tasks:

1) improving social conditions of students;

2)promoting healthy lifestyles and organizing cultural activities for students;

3) stimulating the participation of students in educational, research, sports and public life.

Benefits for tuition fees are provided in accordance with paragraph 1.1. – 1.10 of this Social Package for students who have passed the exams of the previous semester for assessments of “good” and “excellent”, with a GPA of at least 2.8 (retake rates are not taken into account) without disciplinary sanctions.

In the case of disciplinary sanctions during the academic year at the faculty of training students is deprived of social support for the current academic year.     

To receive social support, a student must submit to the dean’s office of the faculty a full package of documents specified in section 6 of this Social Package. Not a full package of documents will not be accepted.

Within three working days, deans of the faculties, on the basis of the documents received, prepare an order for the student to be assigned social support, agreed with the chairman of the trade union committee and vice-rector for educational and social work.

Social support is assigned for the period remaining until the end of the training year (until June 30) from the first of the next day after providing students to the office a full package of documents confirming its social status. The exception is the first half of September: if documents are submitted to the dean’s office of the faculty by September 20, social support is appointed from September 1.

A student with a GPA less than 2.8 is lose of social support during the training year. GPA elevated after retaking the exam is not taken into account.

The student has the right to use only one point of the Social Package, with the exception of material assistance and bonuses paid in accordance with sections 3. “Material assistance to students” and 4. “Encouragement of students”.

Note: privileges are not provided to persons studying at the expense of enterprises (organizations, institutions, etc.).

  1. 2. Material assistance to students

Material assistance is provided to students who have financial difficulties due to various circumstances:

1)  in connection with the death of the student’s close relatives (mother, father, wife, husband) – in the amount of a state scholarship;

2) students who are ill or have had tuberculosis – in the amount of a state scholarship (2 times in the academic year during the first month of each semester: September and February).

Prizes in the team award:

for 1 place – 45 000 tenge;

for the 2nd place –30,000 tenge;

for 3rd place – 22 500 tenge

  1. Parents of students who have achieved excellent performance in academic, scientific and public life, are sent the “Algys” diploma from rector of Yessenov University according to the results of the year.

  1. The right to free accommodation in dormitories is granted by the following categories of nonresident students:

1) orphans and children left without parental care;

2) for students who have become ill or have had tuberculosis.

SOCIAL SUPPORT

 

The student, along with copies, presents the original documents to the dean’s office of the faculty for verification. During the reception of documents, the dean checks the copies with their originals, after which the originals are returned to the owners.

  1. Tuition fee

1.1.The holder of the “Altyn belgi” mark, having academic performance at the end of all exams, is only “excellent”:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) a copy of the certificate of the owner of the mark “Altyn belgi”;

4) a transcript issued by the registration department.

1.2. The student’s mother, who has five children in the family under the age of 18, is the owner of the Altyn Alka suspension:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) a copy of the student’s birth certificate;

4) copies of birth certificates of other children under the age of 18;

5) address certificate for all family members;

6) copy of the certificate holder of the mark “Altyn Alka”;

7) a transcript issued by the registration department.

1.3.The mother of the student, who has five children under the age of 18 in the family, is the owner of the suspension “Kumis alka”:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) a copy of the student’s birth certificate;

4) copies of birth certificates of other children under the age of 18;

5) address certificate for all family members;

6) copy of the certificate holder of the mark “Kumis alka”;

7) a transcript issued by the registration department.

1.4. A holder of a certificate of a special sample or a diploma with honors, having academic performance at the end of all exams is only “excellent”:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) a transcript issued by the registration department.

1.5. Orphans and children left without parental care:

1) student’s application;

2) a transcript issued by the registration department.

1.6.A student who has passed all examination sessions for “excellent” marks:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) a transcript issued by the registration department.

1.7. Simultaneous education at CSUTE on a paid basis (regardless of the form of education) of two or more children from the same family:

1) student’s application;

2) copies of student ID cards;

3) copies of student birth certificates;

4) address certificate of students;

5) transcripts issued by the registration department.

If students study at different faculties, then the order will be sign by the dean of the faculty, where is studying student who firstly entered to university.

1.8. The student’s parents are disabled of the first group:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) a copy of the student’s birth certificate;

4) copies of disability certificates from both parents;

5) a transcript issued by the registration department.

1.9. The student is a disabled person of the first group:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) copy of student disability certificate;

4) a transcript issued by the registration department.

1.10.One of the student’s parents has work experience at CSUTE:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) a copy of the student’s birth certificate;

4)copy of the identity card of the worker-parent of CSUTE;

5) certificate from the HR department about work experience;

6) a transcript issued by the registration department.

  1. Material assistance to students

2.1. Death of the student’s close relatives (mother, father, wife, husband):

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) a copy of the student’s birth certificate or marriage;

4) a copy of the death certificate of a close relative.

2.2. A student who has ill or has had tuberculosis:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) a certificate from a medical institution confirming the student’s diagnosis.

3.1.1. High performance of student at international subject Olympiads, contests, competitions held outside of Kazakhstan:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) representation of the dean of the faculty agreed with the responsible vice-rector;

4) copy of the relevant diploma.

3.1.2. High performance of student at republican olympiads, contests and competitions held outside KSUTI:

1) student’s application;

2) a copy of the student’s identity card;

3) representation of the dean of the faculty agreed with the responsible vice-rector;

4) copy of the order on CSUTE on the business trip or participation in the olympiad in KSUTI;

5) corresponding diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3.2. Encouragement of a student by “Algis” from the rector of CSUTE in the name of his parents:

1) presentation of the dean of the faculty, coordinated with the department of educational, social work and youth creativity.
